The Million Moms

Although a great idea, the “Million Moms” may be misunderstood.  There have been several group in the last decade lay claim or use the phrase “million moms” thus a google search turns up these groups and their campaigns, which are quite diverse – and there is no relation between the groups.

One is an anti gun group, another has campaigns against commercials which are considered derogatory to women.  Indeed, the phrase “million mom march” has been previously used or promoted (although in terms of having a million mom march on Washington DC, none of these previous users of the phrase have came close).
